So So Bad

AL PACINO, Really? I mean REALLY? the only good thing in the movie was the cat… Horrible acting, poorly made: somewhere in between professional and amateur/independent in the never never land of movie making. Really: how does an Oscar-winning actor like Al Pacino ends up in a movie like this with such a bad performance?
REALISTIC MOVIE ABOUT LIFE!

This movie is problably not going to be appreciated unless you are a person who has lived a big chunk of their life, looking at all the changes good bad that you start to realize. This is not about sympathy, its a fact that we all someday are going to get older, and the loss of loved ones, the gain of wisdom and how precious life really is when you are looking at fear and death everyday in some form. Life can get hard and scarey, knock you down if you choose or allow yourself to be humble and forgiving. Pachino gives a great performance without all the glamour. How we deal with the punches and realize who you really are without sugar coating what one thinks of your life takes strength and courage.

There's a reason it's for rent while still in theaters. So I should pay more attention. Too artsy-fartsy for me. And I kept wishing Pacino would get a shave and haircut. Three stars because of Holly Hunter.
Worst Movie I’ve ever watched

This was literally the biggest waste of money I've ever spent with iTunes. I know its not Apple's fault but it is basically criminal to charge money for this. Turned it off after being completely bored for half an hour. Rented because of the actor but i don't even know if you could call this a movie.
Just Plain Boring

Al Pacino, like so many artists before him, just doesn’t know when to give it up. Movie Summary: I’m depressed. The world around me is depressed. And so I’m depressed.
The worse movie maybe ever

This was so slow and too deep. I might have to watch it again to get it.

This film broke my heart. Mr. Pacino gives an outstanding performance, as always, that makes the viewer feel his anger, frustration, and confusion. The last scene with Holly Hunter is heart wrenching as Manglehorn tries his best to reconcile with Dawn. Fanny is exquisite. I recommend this film for the main characters' exceptional performances.
