Never actually seen it but I like the idea of the going for a female audience except I would rather them have made a teen titans like show instead that is like the original since everyone liked it and it has some of the most intense female heroes ever
  • This is horrible

This is the DC Super Hero Girls' biggest adventure yet, and kids will love the friendships, rivalries, gags and super-powered action. Countless cameos and in-jokes will keep longtime DC fans smiling. The story revolves around Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Bumblee and Batgirl. Each super gets her own unique motivation and challenges as they save the world from Eclipso and compete for their school's Hero of the Year award. This series is a fresh take on the DC Universe, with vibrant animation, a catchy theme song and top-shelf voice talent including Mae Whitman, Yvette Nicole Brown, Tom Kenny, Tara Strong and Dean Cain(!). The final battle overstays its welcome a bit, but you have to expect that from a DC movie these days. Extras include several of the early webisodes and a photo gallery. Unfortunately, there's still no way for fans to purchase the hourlong "Super Hero High" cartoon that aired on Boomerang and Cartoon Network earlier this year. Here's hoping for a complete blu-ray release in the near future.

My almost-4-yr-old loves the DC Super Hero Girls shorts and this movie got her very excited. As a father, it's great to see heroes she can get behind that are classic. As a fan of these characters from his own youth, it allows me to share in the discovery of what it means to be heroic.
