  • Romero rolling over in his grave

Sorry, but as kid who spent his 10,000 hours on original era, and B grade zombie flicks, this piece f’in blows. Not worth the rental costs. You should just rewatch some of the classics; return of the living dead, or the original day of the dead instead. Really, really disappointed. When they have to make the zombies feral, or “evolved” to draw the audience in, there is a problem.

I can't believe I paid $10 for this film. I suppose if I had waited for a few months it would be in the discount bin at Walmart for $1.50. First problem I had was the roar of the dead. Then the exploding heads and veins of the victims (Do you realize what the blood pressure would have to be for that? What a joke! The overall feel of the movie was a "feel good" story about love and people coming together and...gag me! This is a film that is so far outside of anything that George A. Romero would do. I think they should take his name off the film. I'm sure he would sue after seeing this.

I love good zombie movies- this isn’t one of them, don’t rent it, seriously don’t buy it, disappointing and just sad that they thought it could live up to a classic
  • A lot of nonsense

A lot of people doing silly things that given the climate you wouldn’t do. For gods sake you have 2 trucks and one broke down. Instead of everyone getting in one that still runs let’s spend hours trying to fix it. The idea of max was good but the rest of the film, especially the acting, just wasn’t there.

This is like a very, very bad made-for TV movie that you'd change channels after watching 10 minutes of it. Bad story, bad acting. Really idiotic. Don't waste your time- even for 10 minutes on it, let alone pay to rent it.
  • I’d give it 0 stars if I could

If you are a Romero fan stay away from this dud. The lead actress Zoë is horrible. Romero hated fast moving zombie so what do they do call them Rotters & say it’s a virus. It’s so frustrating seeing these bozos make stupid choices. And don’t get me started on there reimagined Bub.

People actually get paid to make this stuff...? If you gave someone money to make this film I'd ask for a refund...

Terrible movie. Bad plot, horrible acting, over the top cheesy lines, and ridiculous script. Just plain awful in every way possible. Wish I could get my $5 rental money back.
