Description

Deep within the core of the Earth a fire rages. Within the heart of this fire dwells the Eternal Dragon, a magical beast of limitless power that can be summoned from his fiery lair only when the seven magic Dragon Balls -- now scattered over the face of the Earth -- are found and brought together. When the seven magic Dragon Balls are united, the Eternal Dragon will appear before the adventurer who brought them together and grant that person a single wish. Then, once more the balls will be scattered to the four winds, and the dragon beast will return to his fiery lair until another brave or foolish soul rediscovers the balls and tries to bring them together again.

  • Kind of meh

I am a HUGE fan of anime, and I really like Dragon Ball Z, but this movie was not great. The pacing was kind of fast. All in all, not the best Dragon Ball Z extension.
  • Wrong Box Art

The movie art for this film is inaccurate. This is not the DBZ Movie “Dead Zone” as the art would have you believe. Please fix this error. As for the movie itself, this is mostly an altered retelling of the Pilaf and Red Ribbon arcs of the original Dragon Ball anime, sans Pilaf and the Red Ribbon Army. It’s a decent film for newcomers to the Dragon Ball franchise, but for long time fans, this film is supplemental at best.
  • Z’s Dead Zone art, Dragon Ball’s movie title.

Why does the art actually have Curse of the Blood Rubies written on it. That’s Dead Zone’s art. I love both movies but I honestly wouldn’t know if I was getting the DB movie or the Z movie. Not a very good error lol.
