I liked this better than the low 39% tomato score it has as I write. It’s not thy best horror movie but its entertaining and helps further the story of the main family and provides a fully explanation as to what’s going on and why, going All the back to part one. I liked it.

If you like watching paint dry, this movie is for you. (Plus all of the mandatory tick boxes in 2023 are taken care of … maybe what’s most insidious is the ongoing social engineering permeating “entertainment.”)

From bringing back the original cast to the cohesiveness between the first two movies and this most recent installment, they struck gold in my opinion. Patrick Wilson did a beautiful job both on and off screen. Visually telling the continuation of a story in a way that felt thought out and respectful of the time and effort put into the previous films. Ty Simpkins delivers a powerhouse performance owning his role, while new franchise face Sinclair Daniel's showing us what being kind and brave look like. At first I thought, everything's taking so long to get to the climax, but before you know it, you are invested. The film gives you space to process each scene and find attachments. Which in the end leaves you much more bought into their story and everyone's role. I really can't say enough about this film and how fun it's been to connect dots between James Wan's original character developments and Patrick Willson's keen eye to details that help you understand each person and not just where they are now but, linking issues and behaviors we saw in the first film. Very excited to add this film to the collection! Bravo to everyone who was involved, cast, crew, and beyond!

This is by far the worst out of them all! The 3rd one is the best, scary and great story! This was soooooooooo BOOORRRING!!!! Not scary, not a good story it was just drawn out and boring! And what’s with the Chris character!? She totally felt forced, absolutely disappointing. This should’ve been so good but Hollywood does nothing but disappoint these days! We need new writers! Let’s start using AI since these guys can’t get it done! SMFH

Again, don’t judge a film by the grren cloves and the tomatoes. I found this film entertaining and a good closure for the Insidious series. Nice direction by Patrick Wilson.
