If your going to make revisionist history at the very least, try to make it look real. Not even close to what the reality of the crusades were. But then again if you tell the lie enough times the sheep will believe you.

Pity this movie wasnt a success in theatres all due to Holllywod political culture. You better off watching the Director's Cut than the Theatrical Version. Again Ridley Scott directed a classiic and historical epic movie

The so called expert critics couldn't have been watching the same movie I was. I found it to be very interesting. It was well done. It kept me interested throughout, and it was a unique look into our religous past

I watched this movie in the cinema when it first came out and was impressed with the cinematography. I wasn’t expecting a historically accurate piece, just something to entertain myself with and I found that in this movie among other movies like it i.e.) Troy circa 2004 release.

I never thought they would cut out the scenes that are simply crucial to this movie. I would say it’s complete opposite of LOTR series. This movie just needs those scenes.
