i was born in 80 so I was like 16 when this came out, it was semi popular, more so on dvd, chicks liked it, and fellas, and you younger ones, this is a GREAT first, second, third date night netflix n chill if u tryna get a pizza and hookup for the first time typa night. Girls love the story of the virgin good girl (top of her game beauty wise Reese Witerspoon)and the protective daddy, who meets the few yrs older, smokey back story bad boy (a young, super jacked an cut prime body Mark Walberg..)U find out badboy is a true badboy and goes thru the motions w/the family, and play ur cards right and the movie is made to have ur girl in your arms at the end of the night, BUT its also ive heard a movie that girls enjoy with bottles of wine in their PJs fawning over Mark W and the badboy's they've experienced. Worth the $4.99 buy, if nothing else for the memory lane walk.

I’ve seen this movies over 20 times and I still love it. Lol :) Mark Wahlberg is awesome and the whole soundtrack is simply amazing. It matches the whole storyline. Intense, crazy and wild. Both Reese and Mark play their roles excellently. Love this movie :)

Still one of the greatest thrillers!

Forget about any negative reviews. This may not be Oscar worthy, but it's very entertaining! And isn't that why we watch movies? See Witherspoon and Wahlberg early in their movie careers, and you will see why they both became MEGA-STARS!

I've seen this movie 10+ times. Definitely one of my favorites.

I love this movie this is Mark at his best. When I watch this I am actually spooked by him. this movie is a must see.

The suspence and insanity mixed with the reality of this thriller makes it one of my favorite thrillers of all time. Mark Whalberg played the part of a violently obessive boyfriend scarily well. This is definitley worth the watch.
