Rob Reiner will always be the Meathead from the left. This could have been a great movie in the hands of an Oliver Stone. The old South was much more complex than this glossed over bad history lesson. The only great performance is James Woods as the killer racist pig. I wish Mississippi Burning was available on iTunes.

Great movie, kept me guessing right up until the end. Worth buying to watch again and again. great acting on the part of everyone including whoopi goldberg. She plays a serious role every bit as good as she does comedy.
