Director Clint Eastwood reaches through the helm to direct and starr in Million Dollar Baby a film so incredibly fast-paced and entertaining to watch well-developed characters each given something to do with one another. Dollar Baby isn't just a jury duty masterpiece with brilliant direction from Clint Eastwood himself this movie adds really well-acted scenes and boxing match fight scenes that are worth the crowd-pleaser. The film follows Frankie Dunn (Clint Eastwood) who has been training boxer dreamers since the 60's in the Hit Pit gym alongside with one eyed willy Eddie (Morgan Freeman/ Narrator) then Maggie Fitzgearld (Hilary Swank)joins in to be a compenet wrestler and will stop at nothing to not quit and keep on fighting and fighting. Although Frankie Dunn dosen't have the free spirit or confidence to train girls as elite wrestlers instead Frankie trains her but in a non valud way to make her a eye of the tiger! The story is engaging but in similar feels to other Clint Eastwood films i wanted a female Raging Bull or an female Rocky lead or something but what i got wasn't just about boxing or training in the snow it was about training and the drama that goes within but the film feels well-written and brilliantly executed but having Morgan Freeman narrate throughout the whole movie was distracting for me to pay attention to the story well enough. The acting was brilliant in every way possible and the chronographed boxing matches were a close hit to being a good chronographed boxing scenes, also has a good story and undeveloped characters like Danger (Jay Baruchel), Anthony Mackie and Michael Peña who serve nothing to the story or plot. Although Million Dollar Baby is not perfect i think that this sports drama is definintley worth the watch-rating 9/10

Clint Eastwood is one of the best, actors & directors. This movie is definitely no exception. Hillary Swank is outstanding as well. Although his part isn’t huge in this, Morgan Freeman’s acting is. Top notch acting, story line & excellent execution by pretty much every person in this film.

Been 14 years since it’s release and it’s as good as ever. I think it is one of those movies that will stand the test of time and be enjoyed by many different generations. A good one for the movie library, for sure.

Absolute genius from the soundtrack on down. The character development is second to none. Eastwood outdoes himself with this one. Forget renting……just buy it.

From the beginning until the end, Freeman, Swank, and Eastwood created a masterpiece. It’s truly amazing how there are no dull moments in this movie; every part has a great impact on the viewer and a specific meaning for the development of the story. An underdog that reaches greatness against her merciless circumstances or a cynical world that reminds an underdog on the rise that success can only last so long, no matter how you see it, the movie will touch you.
