  • Terrible movie

The previews are better than the movie. It’s a classic Hollywood bait and switch. It was hard to justify watching this movie to the end.

Horrible plot, poorly directed, bad acting. This is not what I expected from these two star actors.
  • Is this movie good??

Yes. This movie is good. Is it amazing? No. Is it terrible? No. It is an average movie with good actors, good quality scripts and a decent storyline. Yes, it can be misunderstood by some people, but that doesn't mean that the movie is bad. So don't think that since everyone says that it is bad, that it is actually bad. See it for yourself. Once you see it then choose what you think.

Looking for a movie with an interesting plot, but not necessarily the most popular movie of the year? This movie fits the bill. Wasn't expecting much of it, but what I got was 200% of what I was wanting. Love this movie. Justin Timberlake makes it even better. Not only is he a great singer, he's a great actor. Watch this movie!

iTunes (Apple) may want to consider allowing people to rent this movie for $0.99. Don't allow people to buy this, as that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment. fjm
  • Considerably OVER-bashed...

This movie was entertaining with great dialogue and delivery by all actors in the film. As far as the plot and the translation of delivering of thriller, it could have been more thrilling. But the critics really must not want JT to make any more movies, which is unfair because his talent really took a new upward direction in Runner, Runner - I'd call his performance similar to "The Social Network" but on steroids and more gritty than playboy. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys JT or Affleck.

The acting is incredibly bad and even though the movie says it is set in Costa Rica, all the scenery is actually from Puerto Rico. I can’t believe the actors would agree to partake in such a bad movie!
  • Who keeps inflicting timberlake on us?

Ugh! Timberlake? Really, again…? There is a reason why child ‘talent’ doesn’t manage adult fare—with only rare exceptions. The movie is derivative, thats one strike— but two and three are strictly mickey mouse club material!! Bad would be a step or two up, just say NO!
  • Terrible acting, waste of time

Watching Runner Runner made me want to Run Run from the terrible acting, dialogue and everything else. I was able to sit through the movie but just because I had nothing else to do. Justin Timberlake needs to stop "acting" in movies. And Ben didn't exactly give the performance of his life either.
