Description

Oscar-nominees Woody Harrelson ("The People Vs. Larry Flynt," "Wag the Dog"), Juliette Lewis ("From Dusk Till Dawn," "Strange Days") and Robert Downey, Jr. ("Wonder Boys," "Bowfinger"), Academy Award-winner Tommy Lee Jones (the "Men in Black" movies, "Space Cowboys") and an all-star cast are featured in director Oliver Stone's ("Any Given Sunday," "Nixon," "JFK") gripping and satirical look at violence, murder and the American media, from a story by Oscar-winner Quentin Tarantino ("Jackie Brown," "Pulp Fiction"), as told through the eyes of two of the most terrifying, relentless, cold-blooded (and popular) mass murderers imaginable. Co-starring Golden Globe-nominee Tom Sizemore ("Black Hawk Down," "Red Planet") and comedian Rodney Dangerfield ("Little Nicky," "Back to School") in a chillingly serious role. Time Magazine calls this film "explosive... delirious, daredevil fun." Newsweek says it's "flabbergasting, funny, enlightening, brilliantly nightmarish.

To those who pay attention to story, acting, and directing, this movie is one of the best. The performances and dialogue drive the story like hardly any other movies are able to. This genre is not for everyone but to those who don’t mind the gore, I highly recommend it.

I wouldn't even consider myself a Tarantino fan, but I had the privilege of reading his original screenplay "Natural Born Killers". It is one of the best scripts I've ever read. Oliver Stone took a masterpiece in writing and completely demolished it. Still high off his "The Doors" film, he attempted to make this some combination of that and incorporate his silly JFK-style of fast cutting between color and monochromatic, with different perspectives -- none of which help drive the story. It's just Oliver Stone hubris. The only "Natural Born Killer" here is Oliver Stone -- he murdered a great script. They should bury the body.

Just another confused vision of two losers in a codependent downward spiral with not even a hint of redemption. Stone's choices of visual devices is possibly worse than the choices of the losers...i.e....not one of Stone's more memorable flicks.
