Description

Hunting Hitler follows a team of renowned investigators as they reopen the world’s most famous cold case in a search to discover if one of history’s most notorious war criminals actually survived World War II. In 2014, the FBI declassified over 700 pages of secret documents suggesting the possibility that Adolf Hitler may have survived and fled to South America after the fall of Nazi Germany. A recently unearthed memo from legendary FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover states, “American Army officials in Germany have not located Hitler’s body nor is there any reliable source that will say definitely that Hitler is dead.” Bob Baer, a 21-year CIA veteran and one of the most respected military intelligence minds in the world and premier war crimes investigator Dr. John Cencich lead a team of International military experts on the ultimate manhunt.

I have watched all episodes from Seasons 1, 2 and 3. The evidence is credible and what is more, vetted by a retired FBI agent who stated it was well conducted. Yes, there are false leads and some times the search or program gets side tracked or tries to be dramatic, but the evidence is there - there is no conjecture about the evidence. Do they find Adolf Hitler? - No! But it is clear that our government as well as the other nations involved in WW2 have obfuscated about what happened to Hitler. The amazing thing is that fact after fact after fact, including eyewitness accounts - show that high level Nazi’s (including Martin Bormann) were based in South America and attempting to establish the “4th Reich” even after the 1950’s. Even now, the Nazi’s cast a shadow that cause people to hesitate to discuss what they know or share documents they have in their possession.

These meatheads are going around interrogating innocent people about something that ended over 70 years ago. Disgusting, unethical and racist. This show needs to be taken off the air.
  • Remember when it was really the History channel?

Instead, it is now the "History/Crackpot" channel. Its utterly unbelievable what passes for research and scholarship anymore on this network. This series is egregious nonsense and half-baked theories presented as research. Like the even more ridiculous Ancient Aliens abomination, the "researchers" rely too heavily on the most generous definition of "possible", meaning "you can't prove it DIDN"T happen, so it must have really happened, so THERE!"

.. The History channel continues to re-write history with impunity... funny that this is listed under nonfiction.
  • Nonsense documentary

Histroy channel has history of making documentaries that are far from reality .this is one of them. Thinking that hitler will run away from soviet union army from berlin and take refuge in countries closer to usa is as dumb as saying that obama is white president
