Self-important characters in a convoluted drama with no other purpose but to extend a story that was too thin for a series, and so “a million little things” were contrived to thicken it up. Even so, it’s not all that bad.

How could supposely loveable people be so annoying? I enjoyed the first episode so much I bought it, then realise it's just about a bunch of self-important people who make everything about themselves. The friendship is unconvincing and the affection feels forced. The directing makes people who are supposed to be loveable super annoying. The main story line is actually interesting and some of the actors are good... This should have been made a movie or mini series instead. What a waste!

Just randomly started watching this show from the first episode on Hulu and was immediately hooked! I love the fact that there’s so many relatable issues, and such a sad focal point of suicide being the main theme that the show is centered around. But it is interesting in that it goes into detail how a family deals with the aftermath of a parent/spouse committing suicide. It definitely makes me not take life and all of its blessings for granted. It could always be worse.. Good entertaining show and I love the raw emotion that’s so relatable.

I hate this show my whole family watches it and it’s the only thing ever on they never know what is going on around them because this is on, there is always a plot twist or turn and of course that person didn’t mean it like that and of course she didn’t mean to have an affair life is perfect for them but they don’t care they throw it all away and risk everything that’s why I hate this show!

One of those rare shows that feels authentic and also genuinely portrays real life. Even the sentimental moments feel earned. Great writing and perfectly casted. Don’t miss this show- it’s worth the watch!

What’s not to love? How could ratings not be through the roof? I’m binging now and have introduced others who are binging as well! Best show I’ve seen since This Is Us. Well done.
  • Has the honesty of "thirty-something" and its offshoots

I like the realism of the show, and the mystery. The focus is on men's friendships within the wider realm of their lives. The first episode did a great job of clarifying the intertwined relationships, and giving info mostly within dialogue, while keeping the movement going. It's nice to see a show set in Boston that's not about organized crime, though I guess there's still time.
