Description

The third season of MAGNUM P.I. returns with Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Higgins (Perdita Weeks) working in sync as private investigating partners, just as she begins a new relationship with her doctor, the handsome Dr. Ethan Shah (Jay Ali). Rick (Zachary Knighton) continues to manage La Mariana, the hottest tiki bar on the Island along with his best pal and Island Hoppers boss, TC (Stephen Hill), while Magnum and Higgins tackle cases that include re-possessing a plane from a drug cartel, helping an MMA fighter being blackmailed into throwing a fight and weathering a hurricane inside La Mariana with two armed killers. With keys to a vintage Ferrari in one hand, aviator sunglasses in the other, and an Old Düsseldorf longneck chilling in the fridge, Thomas Magnum is back on the case!

    We’ve been watching since it started. Watched the original as well. It’s enjoyable television. Action, comedy, a little romance...the characters are well played, well written. And each season we learn more about the characters as they “peel back the layers”.

  • This remake should make Tom Selleck, Jonathan Hillerman (RIP), Roger Moseley, & Larry Manetti proud.

    I’ve watched every episode thus far, and this is an incredible series, with outstanding actors/actresses, and extremely well-written screenplays. Jay Hernandez could not be better as Thomas, Perdita Weeks is a fantastic take on Higgins, Stephen Hill is a lovable TC, Zachary Knighton plays Rick to a T, Amy Hill is marvelous, and Tim Kang as Katsumoto is the unsung hero of the show. I would watch anything with any of these genuine individuals in it. Magnum, P.I. is all about helping others, and it’s exactly the kind of show that the world needs more of...

    This show is easy to watch, not high intensity but fun. Recommend it during these stressful times. The characters are from diverse backgrounds which is really nice and adds to the stories. Nice job on diversity and unique contributions to each character!

    Three of you are being chased by a squad bad guys through the forest. You shoot one of them, and he drops his submachine gun right at your feet. Do you take it? No, you just run away and keep trying to fight them off with a single pistol among the three of you. Yeah right.

    ...how this shot got a third season. The main actor is so NOT Magnum, he just doesn't fit the role. The actors also lack chemistry, I just don't get it. This remake could have been fun with the right actors. I watched the first and second seasons with my wife, she kind of tried to like the show, I just tagged along but in the end, we didn't like it. Sad.
