I have really enjoyed the story arcs written for the anime

Star Trek: Prodigy brings familiar Star Trek characters, races, and themes to the kids while serving as a pseudo-sequel to Star Trek: Voyager for all fans of Star Trek. Run by Trekkies, care has gone into bringing the look and feel of Star Trek into Prodigy’s animation style while bringing back Star Trek alumni in both familiar and new roles.
  • First Discovery, then Lower Decks…now this…sigh…

Not liking it. The character Dal is ruining the whole show. Street smart, but not smart. He’s clueless, clumsy, impressed by the sound of his own voice, and the writers can’t seem to make him charming enough to keep watching. Janeway is the only thing that could keep me watching, and she’s failing. Bad characters, and bad dialogue are what is destroying Star Trek, and Paramount throwing lots of money into great production budgets doesn’t bode well for future chapters of Star Trek.

One of the best series yet!!
  • Essential Post-TNG Trek Viewing

While aimed at a younger audience this show is one of my favorite new series. Don’t let the animation fool you older viewers. As the first half of the season sets up the story and introduces characters, it has high stakes and gives some true nail biting moments towards the second half of the season. There are some not to be missed key points for fans of TNG and Voyager with a some great moments that fans of TOS will enjoy. It leaves us with a cliffhanger and I hope the show is picked up again for another season or at least given a wrap up episode or two. Studio execs want every show to be a smash right out the gate and stay that way which isn’t realistic. It’s a shame this show isn’t being given more time to continue building itself up after a good foundation to begin.
  • Finally added 2nd half!

Took iTunes long enough to add 2nd half, but at least its finally here! Great little series, but can understand why they cancelled it. Aimed at kids, but probably too complex, and a little bit too simplistic for grown ups. Lower Decks is far better.

Where is the rest of season 1! Please give us access to it! Especially since it was removed from Paramount +
  • Outstanding series, brilliant sequel to Voyager

Prodigy isn’t just a great kids show, it’s a great Star Trek show. I’ve been a fan of Star Trek since I was 2 years old watching reruns of TOS, and I’ve truly enjoyed Prodigy. The characters grow and develop throughout the season, going from self interested adolescents to embodying the best of Starfleet values. Janeway is a perfect guide and teacher for them, and there’s a compelling mystery about what happened to Chakotay. I love Rok’s enthusiasm, Jankom’s sarcastic crankiness, and Dal’s journey towards humility. It’s a shame Paramount+ pulled this absolute gem of a series, hopefully they’ll release the other 10 episodes of season 1 here soon, and figure out season 2.
  • Save Prodigy!

Save Star Trek: Prodigy!!! This is an amazing addition to the Trek legacy and it’s a shame Paramount is canceling it.
  • I want my final 10 episodes I paid for!!

I paid for the complete first season of Prodigy which contains 20 episodes. Paramount decides to cancel this truly outstanding series before the final 10 episodes air on Nickelodeon so they need to release the last 10 episodes in full to the people who paid paramount and Nickelodeon 20.00 for the entire first season of prodigy. Don’t screw people who supported your network and production.
