Bering Sea Gold, Season 1

I enjoyed this show tremendously. It was fun to have the search for gold as the main storyline and all the drama occur around it. Most of the reality TV shows are geared to generate the worst in people for our viewing amusement. I found this show had both qualities without being forced. For anyone that thinks Scott was an actor - watch the wrap up shows where he getsd into it with Vern and Steve - now thats drama/action.

Scott Meisterheim is the biggest jerk. He is the most negative, blame-everybody-but-himself, know-it-all loser. It's pretty sad that he thinks that being in jail (and losing your freedom) is better than making a living and being a decent boss, worker and father.

Love these crazy Alaska / Canada extreme reality shows. This show makes me think -- I could build a dredge like that and mine would be better. I will bet that the shores of Nome will be a lot more crowded in Season 2. Fun show.

I too am expecting the Hoffmans to show up anyday. With one crew pulling up 100 oz's a week its a sure bet they'll be watering at the mouth to get the producers to let them go dredging. By the way who sings the entry song for this show its freaking awesome. I've triued to find it but have had no luck.

Pretty good show - but I am already tired of Mr Negativity - watch it and you'll see what I am talking about. Need to sink that toolbag. Otherwise, the show is fun to watch.

good tv show, much more gold than the Hoffmans!!

46 oz. In a day! The Hoffmans ought to be showing up soon with a jon boat and a shop vac and wondering why they aren't rich. $3.00 is too much for any single show though.
