  • Great Show

This show is humorous but it also hits on serious subject matter such as PTSD. The show presents it to the civilian population in a way that is more understandable and not quite as "scary" as the ideas that most people have about PTSD. What a great way to help the civilian population relate and understand what soldiers and Marines have been going through for the last 17 years.

This show is funny, good natured and puts a human face on the military. It actually made me appreciate them even more, Pete's story has that effect. Each one of the brothers represents someone we can identity with, even one that doesn't really want to be there! It is a real shame it didn't last longer, but at least the final episode did have a nice bittersweet ending that thankfully doesn't leave any dangling plot threads that will never get tied up. Warm and often hilarious every episode invites multiple viewings.

For civilians, im sure you all love it. You must eat this up like its a hot plate. Maybe it's just my Army Values that took control, but I watched one episode of this and was disgusted. I get it; it supposed to be funny and not at all serious. If that be true, than there should be a disclaimer before each showing. I've asked hundreds of men in my brigade and soldiers ive come across around the world what they think of this show, and it all the same. Literally everything about it is so wrong in so many ways. I do have a leg to stand on, cause Army Wives seemed to get a better picture of the Army than this. Feel me out there? Hooah?

To the person who says this is insulting/degrading and non realistic portrayal of the army - ITS A GORRAM SITCOM AND NOT A DOCUMENTARY. One watches shows like once upon a time, supernatural, glee and walking dead for entertainment value (cos EVERYONE knows how 'realistic' those shows are ... Yeah right!) and this show does have all of that and more. Each episode has heart and a good message which anyone (service or not) can certainly understand.

In episode one SGT Pete Hill has a ranger tab...in the episode "army men" Pete is doing ranger training with randy and SSG Perez...whats the deal with that. Is he doing it for fun or did the director/writers forget SSG Hill was already a ranger. Why is he doing training to become a ranger if he is already one...enlighten me.
  • This is NOT an insult to the military...

The show follows in the tradition of Sgt. Bilko and McHale’s Navy. It’s part family comedy meets screwball silliness. It works because of the comedic timing of the cast and the brilliant chemistry. It’s a show that grows on you and the military setting is a backdrop handled with tongue and cheek care. It’s pretty clear there is a healthy respect for those in uniform if you actually watch more than 1 episode.
  • It got better

After seeing the whole season and the final episode it was all together a good show. It had a little slow start but once you got to see the characters grow in the season it was a good show. I don't think it makes fun of the people in the military at all, I have great respect for those that server and this show I felt showed it. I hope it comes back the three hill brothers were awesome and made me think of my own brothers and our relationship.
  • NO MORE RANDY

At times, this show can start to become really funny, but just before the laughs start, the little brother Randy shows up to destroy it completely. It's a shame such an awful character ruins what otherwise might have been a good show.

Lots of iCandy…that in itself makes the show watchable!
