A great post WWII love story … Casting, acting, writing, storyline, directing, photography, scenery, sets, sound, music, editing … superb. Definitely not one to be missed … and … you may find yourself enjoying it again and again and again …

This is The Best film by Keanu Reeves in my opinion. He needs to look back into romance films he could be like Cary Grant.

Keanu Reeves is a gentleman par excellence in this movie and he plays his part to the fullest with charm and demeanour that outshines his peers in the movie, except for Anthony Quinn. If for anything else other than to do with what is selfless love, do see this for what an orphan always misses; a longing for a family and ones willingness to be part of the whole that the rest of us take for granted. The acting skills of Anthony Quinn is at it’s best with him playing the mentor in how to gain love using the softer skills. Reminds me of how beautiful the art of seduction is. And his fancy for brandy, wine, chocolates and other simple but beautiful things in life is relived in you. The story may be all convoluted for the sharper critic, but this is suited for people who have a heart that melts for sacrifice, honour, love unconditional and most of all family.

I don’t want to take anything away from the movie, but this is in the OWN FOR $4.99. So iTunes why is it $9.99? Somebody’s not very good at their job.

I absolutely love this story and enjoy every character. Anthony Quinn is priceless and his interaction with his son (played by Giancarlo Giannini) is so entertaining. I don’t understand the low reviews by some for this movie. The soundtrack is amazing, and as everyone else has mentioned, the cinematography is off the charts. Love it!!

Truly endearing cast that will captivate you from start to finish. P.S. A perfect movie for a date :D

I LOVED this movie. If you enjoy a fun journey and a happy ending, you will love this movie. There is nothing like the suspense of love. Highly recommend this movie!
