The Gallows

This was a great horror movie! This movie was especially scary to me because I go to school at Beatrice! I think that it was an awesome movie and very scary.

I was looking for a scary movie to watch late at night, I thought this looked good, but BOY WAS I WRONG! The movie is so boring and nothing happens until the last 30 minutes! It was laughably stupid! I look for horror and this just wasn’t scary at all. I hate it when movies do this. I’m glad I only rented it!

Horror movies are not really my thing, and I would probably be much more easily scared than someone who loves horror movies. But this movie is really not that scary, it is stupid, predictable and acting is just poorly done. I went to see it in the theatre, and the only thing that made my experience with it great, that I was next to the most attractive man on earth and every time there would screams or ‘scary’ scenes I would hug my man and he would hug me back protectively cute :)

Don't waste your money on this movie. It was poorly done. The whole movie was shot with this horrible actor running around with a camcorder amd making stupid comments. I quit watching it halfway through the movie it was so boring. Thumbs down.

Boring as hell and definitely not scary

This movie is good and ok.

The Gallows, Has created a great plot with interesting backgrounds and characters. Although you may feel angry at a charater the movie seems to feed and build on suspense creating a very active and tense atmosphere. I recommend this movie for many ages as It may catch a Various amounts of reviews. But of course it is just my silly opinion.

This is the worst horror movie I've seen so far. Every jump scare was typical and expected. The movie uses no original content. The cast was annoying and intolerable. Don't waste your time with this terrible movie.

If there was ever an example of why “found footage” movies should not quit being made, this is it. All of these people giving it 4 or 5 stars must either be people that were in the movie, or the people that made the movie. From the very start of the movie, we are introduced with the most annoying and obnoxious character to ever grace a movie screen…I think I hated this guy worse than I hated Jar Jar Binks. You can not wait for the movie to progress so that something bad can happen to this guy. The rest of the cast are annoying , but mostly because of the bad script that they had to work with. None of the characters are really all that likable, so you end up not really caring who lives and who dies. The big “twist” that gets revealed about halfway through the movie should give away what to expect at the end of the movie. Honestly, if they had written the characters to be something more than a bunch of dunderheads, this movie would have been tolerable to barely mediocre, but the way that they are portrayed just makes this movie really painful to sit through. I found this movie more annoying and obnoxious than I did “scary”. I’d wait for it to hit Chiller before watching it…because that’s the scariest thing about this movie…that people actually paid to see it.
