Emphasis here is on twists and turns. The writer and director are intent on surprising the audience, no matter what. It works for a short while in the beginning, but the plot’s absurdity and incoherence becomes more and more apparent as the movie progressed towards its glaringly senseless, dumb conclusion. Which was no surprise.

Guter Film. Spannende Handlung, mit mehreren unvorhersehbaren Wendungen. Leihen reicht völlig, wird wohl eher ein Film sein, denn man sich nur einmal anschaut! SEHENSWERT

Truly went into this movie expecting big names and an average film, but the movie came together really well and the character acting was strong. Would recommend this to anyone and especially for a great iTunes watch.

Not sure why the reviews were so poor. I actually found this to be a very enjoyable movie.

I really loved this movie. It was suspenseful and dark with twists that were very unpredictable, which I love. There were great visually stylistic scenes which made it stunning to watch. It was artfully directed and the story kept me on the edge of my seat. Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins, as usual, made me wonder what they were thinking behind every line of dialogue…. Terrific! And a surprise ending. Very skillfully done! This is a movie that involves the participation of the audience. In a way, you are the detective looking at the evidence presented to you... as it comes. I love a movie that doesn't spoon feed you baby food, but has the gonads to make you think and work to chew that steak. Drink some coffee, watch with intelligence, and enjoy. You’ll be glad you did. 10 out of 10 stars. I highly recommend this film to any serious film goer.

I loved this film. A very impressive debut from a first time director with an all start cast. Looking forward to watching more of his movies!

This was a great rental-perfect for my rainy Sunday in :-) The cast was awesome..some of my favorite actors. Loved the location! All the New Orleans shots were so beautiful and really added to the vibe. I recommend this if you're looking for a old school suspenseful, sexy thriller.
