While The Coen Brothers may have won this 50's classic is funny and personal. There are some bad scenes but the talented cast and sues bring the movie in good spritis. But the look of this film is gorgeous and within all of the Coen Brothers movies that are great like Burn After Reading, Fargo, No Country for Old Men and The Big Lebowski all of those movies are brilliant. But the thing is The Coen Brothers focus on character development and art it's irriatating and very conclusive but overall this film is very neat looking and make sense.

Not sure why other reviewers are complaining so much but my guess is that it’s misplaced expectations and the film might be more of homage for Hollywood insiders then for casual fans. It’s a movie worth watching for no other reason than it encapsulates within its satire the history of film and why we need Hollywood to create our dreams. Great performances all around. Sadly in 2019 we are stuck with Marvel schlock.
  • Entertaining and Fun!

As one critic suggested, "Hail, Caesar has its moments of pleasure." I enjoyed every one of them, especially Channing Tatum's excellent "No Dames" musical sequence and Josh Brolin's character slapping some sense into George Clooney's character. "Hail, Caesar" is not an innovative, Oscar caliber movie by any stretch of the imagination. It is a visually striking, Saturday matinee popcorn movie. It's fun!
  • Great Cast, Very Funny!

It took several viewings to fully appreciate this movie, but I do. I always found it funny, but underwhelming & arguably their weakest film. But it's really solid once you accept the plot; cause there really didn't seem to be much of one at first.

This movie was boring. There was a few funny parts here and there, but this movie really drags. At least there’s a good cast.
  • I CAN'T STAND THIS FRIGGIN' MOVIE!!!

Why, Coen Brothers? Why did you make this abomination for a movie that critics liked? Well, the acting is terrible, the story is just all over the place, everything about this movie is an atrocity. I can't stand this movie! This looks even worse than This Is the End, World War Z, The World's End and of course, the female Ghostbusters reboot! Don't even waste you time on this movie! It's friggin' horrible! Go watch Fargo, The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou, No Country for Old Men and others. Those films were a million times better than this horrid!
  • Aww hail no

If I could give this less than one star then I would. It's a pretty bad movie and would not recommend wasting your money on this.
