    A slow building, slow-burn story of heroism and courage. By the end, you're on the edge of your seat... (no spoilers). Underrated as a movie -- it was very good film. An amazing story of young Czechoslovaks who parachuted into their occupied nation to kill Reinhard Heydrich, one of the three most evil Nazis.

    I knew the history behind this movie and am pleased to say that the script was true to recorded events. The beginning is good for character development and the last third of the movie is for action and adventure afficionados.

    When iTunes puts a movie on the 99 cent rental list, it's not usually a good sign. But, this is one of those rare and pleasantly surprising exceptions! The movie is worth watching not only for its historical value, but for picture it paints of a bold struggle against the evils in this world and of the fight for what is right and good.

    This is the antidote to shoot-em-up, high-octane war movies. Full of tension and heart, Anthropoid is a quietly beautiful and engrossing film that truly honors the brave men and women who fought back in occupied Prague.

    What an incredible series Band of Brothers was. Very emotional and sad and at the same time so hopeful. This movie has all. It is Schindler List and Band of Brothers. I went to Prague last summer, and understand how key this country was and is in squashing Nazism. How anyone could worry about the "slow" pace in the beginning is unfathomable. It is an emotional build up that makes you completely involved by the ending. A must see for sure. Do not pass it up.

    I find that some reviews miss the mark when mentioned that the first half of the movie is slow due to subdued dialogue. This is nazi occupied Prague after all, I would expect diologue to be on the serious and unemotional side. But I find this kind of diologue necessary given the circumstances and frankly, leads very well to an exceptional second half of the film. Great acting, tense story. Should have gotten more exposure.
