Description

Jean-Claude Van Damme returns for a new chapter in the adrenaline charged Kickboxer legacy. Kurt Sloane (Alain Moussi) has always been there for his brother, Eric (Darren Shahlavi), who’s known in the martial arts world as a modern-day warrior. But when the ruthless and undefeated fighter Tong Po (David Bautista) brutally ends Eric’s life in a no-holds-barred match in Thailand, Kurt devotes himself to training with a master (Van Damme) in a quest for redemption… and revenge. Featuring MMA champions Georges St-Pierre, Gina Carano, Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum, Kickboxer: Vengeance delivers a one-two punch of jaw dropping fights and death defying stunts.

This is a really well done reboot. FINALLY something get a reboot and it isnt CRAP. Alain Moussi is probably the best pure athlete to ever star in a martial arts film. Insane athelete. David Bautista is incredible as TONG PO. its a lot of fun. IF you rented and or bought this film because you wanted to be enthralled by the acting youve come to the wrong place. However if you want to watch amazing fights and action without over the top CGI and special effects to ruin everything........well.............youve come to the right place. The even better news is that the sequel is coming out shortly and apparently its WAY cooler and the action in that is even more insane. Win win................rent/buy this right away!

So bad...It could have been so much better. The first one is a martial arts classic. This was a mix bad acting, editing, and story. Do not rent.

I really wanted to like it, but the acting was bad, I mean not bad in comparison to a huge Hollywood blockbuster, I mean bad in comparison to your everyday Netflix B movie. The fight choreagraphy wasnt great either, you can see where the punches and kicks were missed and then slow motion was used at the wrong times. Also, how many work out montages do you need in a movie? I mean, its worth watching if its on cable or Netflix, or maybe even RedBox, but wouldnt spend any real money on it.

Great action flick, wish there was more Van Damme. Alain Moussi was cool but he's no JCVD! Haha! This movie was good but the original will always be the best! Must watch for action fans and of course, Fans of Jean-Claude Van Damme! It was awesome to see him as the trainer!

This movie felt like I was watching it at the drive in back in 1985. If you are looking for a nostalgic bare knuckle brawl of a movie, buy this one.
