Description

The documentary I AM is the story of a man who had it all until something happened to make him realize he might have it all…wrong. After a near-death experience, Hollywood film director Tom Shadyac (Ace Ventura) decided to spark a conversation around two rarely asked questions: what’s wrong with our world and what can we do about it? Shadyac traveled the globe interviewing today’s greatest thinkers. And while he may have been filming a documentary, his film reveals a plot twist straight out of a blockbuster movie: scientific proof that we are all connected. By the final scene, it’s clear that while he started out asking what’s wrong with our world, he ended up discovering what’s right with it.

I am another after watching this documentary. It ties many evident truths that have been revealed and discovered over time, but not put into one story. Science now recently shows us a different aggregate of life and wellbeing, far from the traditional mechanistic interpretations of what makes us happy. If you want to know how to live happier and fulfilled, this documentary will give you great insights on how to start that journey. Hurry, it is almost always later than we think.

this documentary changed my perspective on life more than any other thing I have ever seen. dont listen to the critics, it has some hokey parts but the core message is so honest it hurts. Watch it, think about it a while, then watch it again and Tom is just another example of why/how the cravings of the ego, can never satisfy the gnawing hunger of the soul. thank you Tom for your efforts on this film, and plase do more.
