Description

After Porn Ends 2 picks up where it’s predecessor left off and not only turns back the clock to meet the oldest living stars in adult film’s history, but goes in depth with some of Its most current retirees and juxtaposes their experiences in a life after porn. Delving deeper into society’s ongoing stigmas of race, misogyny, and the reality of decreasing opportunities for these former VHS box cover stars. For some, their careers in adult entertainment is accepted proudly and without regret. In fact, it seems to have proven to be the pathway to their current happiness and inner peace. For others, however, a career in porn has proven to be a conduit to certain despair as they struggle to find a way to bury their past and emerge with a new career or calling.

I couldn't help but cry during Janines part of the movie. I went through a similar experience with my ex husband and our son. Stay strong Janine and continue on your path of righteousness! Really cool movie.

This was better than the 1st installment as this film had a wider variety of performers from different decades. So cool to hear the perspectives of the pioneers (Georgina and Johnny) and how they actually had real "acting" backgrounds. Also thought Janine's story was incredibly powerful and laughed quite a bit from Brittany Andrews as well. This series is a winner in my opinion as it really humanizes the performers and reminds us that we are all human and are so much more than the sexual acts we perform.
  • The First Installment Was Much Better

Boring and misses the mark. This felt stale and very rushed. There was very little to learn about iconic stars such as Chasey Lain. Anybody that knows her rise and fall would want to see this, figuring there'd be some great information about her. Wrong. 10 minutes and nothing more than what's already out there. Talk about a missed opportunity! Wait for this snooze-fest on Netflix.
