Are you guys kidding me? I swear half of these reviews are from people who worked on the film, and totally full of it, all using the same words to describe this as if trying to sell it. While other viewers gave an honest review of 1-2 stars and admitted this is a terribly acted film and other reasons why they didn't like it or what could have made it better. There is no way an audience would be so split, you rarely see this. So do me a favor and stop reviewing your own movie and leave it up to us.

This movie had potential, unfortunately the acting was not great and their goal to be a dysfunctional family turned into a joke of a family. I like movies about witches but did not really find any in this movie. The characters (like five of them) became more annoying than I could stand at times. The scenery/cinematography was on point but that was about it. The plot also left me with more questions than I would like...not a huge fan of 'revenge' stories but still this could have been a much better movie with a little better plot and good acting.

The premise isn't so bad, but the acting is so distractinly bad there was no hope. I don't understand how anyone is giving it anything above one stars. At one point I leaned over to my bf to ask, "is this supposed to be funny?" because it sure as heck isn't scary. Or interesting. *end rant*

If you have read any of my previous reviews , you all know I love horror movies . This one failed miserably on every level . It clearly emulated the sleeper hit " The Witch " and even copied its jarring soundtrack , what they couldn't or failed to copy was the feeling of dread and fear . Acting was terrible , plot was terrible . There was creative photography in the film but I could have done the same thing with my iPhone . Renters remorse for sure . :(
