My def of a good movie is extremely simple- did it keep your attention-was it technically sound-did it show you something new or fresh pertaining to its genre ? If you answer yes to all of those, BAM It was a good movie. This was a good movie Kane

I love zombie movies. It's an obsession. I'll buy just about any zombie movie I can find. I had to turn this one off, sadly. I can take all the gore and guts and gratuitous violence there is, but I revile gratuitous depictions of rape. Had I known before purchasing, I would have passed.
  • Horror comedy with a great big heart.

This is an engaging little zombiepocalypse. Brittany Allen has real deft comedic timing. She's like a blonde Parker Posey. Most the movie is just her and an ambling zombie, and she carries it all with charm. Be forewarned: the second act goes into some dark places. It caught me off guard a little. Nonetheless it somehow it manages to keep a consistent tone. There's a great payoff at the end. It's been awhile since I've seen a zombie flick this clever.
  • Something a little different

The movie definitely has some moments that are unique and provide an interesting spin on the zombie Sandra. The story has 3 distinctive parts. I would say the 1st part of the movie is horror(with a few laughable moments), the 2nd part of the movie turns into a weird almost comical tone, and the 3rd part of the movie becomes an action packed story of a mothers bond. It's worth a watch, definitely something different in the zombie genre.
