Awesome movie. Madea is always good. TP is a great movie producer and director. Kudos to him 👍🏽
  • This looks like deleted scenes

I am a huge Madea fan, and have always appreciated the work that Tyler Perry has done. Sequels are always tough, so I already had lowered my expectations. What I saw wasn’t a movie- it looked more like deleted scenes stitched together to create some boring alternate universe version of the first one. I was watching with a friend and we kept saying “let’s give it time- I’m sure it will get better”. But It didn’t. After 45 minutes I started feeling bad for people who paid to see it in theaters. Yes there were a few funny moments, but those were the exception and not the rule. From poor quality green screen scenes in Madea’s Cadillac to over-acting by Horse’s obsessed girlfriend, this was incoherent at best, and insulting at worst to those who wanted to see the brilliantly funny 1st Boo movie come back for an encore. I will never give up on Tyler Perry. Madea is always my hero. But this movie- I’m choosing to pretend it never happened and watching the first (and only!) one instead.

It seems that Mr. Perry is trying to move away from what made these movies popular. There is more vulgar language in this one.

Well, the answer to my question is found in this movie. Tyler is a gifted storyteller, but you couldn’t tell by this piece of garbage. For someone who sat next to Oprah and talked about his sexual abuse and then joke about it is just beyond the pale and he should be ashamed of himself. Another reviewer said this is destined to be in the bargain bin at Walmart and that’s a slam against bargain bins as far as this film is concerned. Tyler needs to take a break and stop picking pockets at the movie theaters with crap like this. Tyler, you can do much better than this. Get it together or retire. This is a slap in the face to many hardworking people of color in the business.
