I loved Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and it's sequel -- this failed to achieve that level of stupidly funny. Whatever elements come together to make bad movies great are completely lacking.

Is completely ridiculous!! Which, of course, is the point. Like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and those of its ilk, it takes itself not at all seriously. The acting is cheesy, the "Killer donuts " even cheesier, the plot (well, does it even matter?! ). Characters who state the obvious to the camera ( C. Thomas Howell, I'm talking about you ). The bimbo who "runs" around a car while donuts are attacking her. The loser/hero kid, who loves the bimbo ( of course ) and.....I could go on, but why spoil it? Do yourself a favor, turn off your brain for 1hr and 40 minutes and enjoy.
So funny!

This sci-fi meets horror meets comedy has a lot going for it. It’s got all the makings of a scary movie combined with all the traits of a comedy. The result was this very self-aware movie that will definitely leave you unknowing of what is to come.

If you liked films like Piranha, Trolls 2, or Rubber you will like this film. The film is about three kids defending their hometown against chemical turned killer donuts. It’s definitely an unique grotesque horror film.

The music used in Scott Wheeler’s Attack of the Killer Donuts added to the self-aware theme and humor in the film. As Johnny (Justin Ray) and Michelle (Kayla Compton) get ready to fight the killer donuts, the old western background music had me laughing. The humor in this film is outrageous. If you like self-aware films, this movie is for you!

Along with the killer special effects, the music was phenomenal in Attack of the Killer Donuts. I love that Nik Olas and Joel Someillan created their own music just for this film. I’d definitely recommend seeing this horror comedy if you’re in need of a movie night with the bros!

Attack of the Killer Donuts was an experimental horror-comedy, that will make you cringe and feel awkward in a good way! The story follows a boy and his friend working at a donut shop, which ultimately gets turned into a hive of killer donuts that terrorize the town. I particularly loved the creative story line and absurdities. If you want to watch something out of this world, "donut" miss out on this! Highly recommend!

This was a great, campy, playful, and quirky film that had me shocked and entertained the entire time. I love wacky, comedy-horror films, and this one is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I loved the awkward and quirky humor, it had me laughing in almost every scene. The film has its share of humor, but it’s still a horror film and it does a fantastic job of combining the gore of a horror film with body-humor and absurdist humor. This is a great film for anyone who loves the genre of comedy-horror.

Attack of the Killer Donuts was one of the funniest comedy horrors I’ve seen all year. From the bizarre premise, to the freaky looking donuts that grew teeth and terrorized the residents had me hooked to the film. The movie is certainly a must watch for those looking for a campy midnight horror movie.
