the movie didn't go into things like the torn acl to much, it doesnt talk about him getting a surgery on his acl at all. good but could have been better.

Worth the time to see this man in a light that you don’t always get to see. The inspiring story of a man who always believed in himself and surrounded himself with people that believed in him as well. Through hard work and discipline, he was able to accomplish his goals of first, one day competing in the UFC, next capturing the featherweight title, then the lightweight title as well. A lot of time spent on the journey to the fight with Jose Aldo and not enough time on the rest of his story, but still in awe of the story presented to me.
  • Very good documentary 👍👍

As always, it seems that if Rotten Tomatoes hates a movie, I’ll like it. And not sure what the only other reviewer’s talking about, but know if you’ve gotta trash talk on one’s heritage (ie, leprechaun, etc), then probably not very objective. If you like MMA, & esp Conor McGregor, then you’ll like this inside story. I’m both, plus Irish 🇮🇪, so I definitely enjoyed it. I won’t say it’s “perfect,” but it’s very entertaining & definitely worth the purchase or rental.
