I enjoyed this very much. I had no idea about his life prior to his stardom. I think every detail of this movie is needed to demonstrate how God can and does forgive a person of their sins when they are truly repentant. It would not have meant anything much if it were just about how he came to be saved from his sins without knowing his past. It is truly a moving story about rebellion, forgiveness and God’s love for all mankind. I am glad that I will one day see Steve in heaven although he will not be the Steve remembered here on earth. God bless everyone who participated in this movie.

Steve McQueen was a bit before my time, so I've been binge watching his movies and docs. I've discovered him as a huge talent, and become quite a fan. This documentary brings a story I've never heard before forward. It turns out the most dramatic part of McQueen's life was how he died. Steve McQueen was a mesothelioma victim who fought to the end but tells us in his own recorded words what his dying wish was. Again, this was new to me and made me think.

You can pretty much skip the first half of this documentary as it's pretty much commonly known McQueen histroy and IMO doesn't need to be dragged on so long (5 minutes on Wikimpedia will tell you all of it). The second half is where the spirtual aspect comes into play that you don't hear about. Overall it's good history and shows a part of McQueen you never saw since it's towrds the end of his life after Hollywood, dealing w/ cancer and death and eventually finding God.
