Sure, the acting in the opening two scenes is a bit "off" - but once the story gets rolling - which happens very quickly - it's pitch perfect. Mucho surprises, almost Italian-levels of unexpected hyper-violence, a great 1980s synth score, and a powerful performance from the lead (who is an honest-to-goodness Mohawk Native North American) - with a very satisfying climax - all of this was time well spent. White American Males probably don't like this because it paints the American settlers as quite evil (and let's face it, they were NOT choirboys in real life), but this is a very enjoyable film that's never dull.

My wife and I sat down last night and watched the Mohawk. We weren’t really sure what to expect, however within in minutes of it starting we were both drawn right in. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire movie. We were both very impressed with the acting. Neither of us knew any of the people in the movie besides WWE Superstar Luke Harper (Jonathan Huber) as we are both huge fans of him. While everyone gave a great performance, it was awesome to see someone such as Jon take on a role of this nature and completely make it his own. I would consider this a must watch for any history buff, or anyone who likes a high suspenseful movie from beginning to end. Five stars all the way from the Hill Family!

Such a good movie! It was harsh at times but always interesting. I'm not certain what the others on here were expecting but I got the revenge/horror/thriller that I was looking forward to. I really liked the different perspective...yeah I liked it.

This was an awful waste of time and money. The dialogue sucked, the costuming was bad, and the historical accuracy is non-existent. The characters were not credible. The special effects and photography were the only thing The was semi-OK. That being said, had I not paid for the movie, I would not have watched the entire movie. Wait, I didn’t anyway.

Ahh yes the mighty Mohawks who had a nasty habit of thievery, rape and eating the hearts of their enemies are somehow the heroes/ victims . Next thing you know The Apache or the Haidai will be the heroes and we will have forgotten about all their savagery.

Really bad movie. Not a horror, not a thriller, just a poorly written piece of nothing with horrible acting. The Mohawks speak with no accents, you care nothing for the characters...I could go on, but I don't want to spend another second even thinking about the wasted 2 hours of my life. Never believe Rotten Tomatoes reviews again.
