  • I wish I could care ...

Movies are stories unto themselves. The subtext that actual history provides the viewers is not magically inserted into that story. Perhaps for those of a certain age, 70 and older, the promise of the Kennedy name is enough to encourage them to root for Ted in this film. However, for the rest of us, there is nothing likeable about this man. He may have lost the sailboat race in reality, but we needed to see him win at least one sailboat race at some point. Even if it was two years earlier. Wonderful acting though. I wish I could care.

Sad how there was never any justice for that girl. Coward left her there to die and the police along with media and Kennedy cronies covered it all up! He killed a woman and never went to jail! Disgraceful.
  • Really, we elected this guy?

Pathetic, how could the democrats really elect this guy after this? I guess the media spins things the way they want. Maybe this was during the big switch and this guy was really a republican. Great movie in showing the hypocrisy at it's highest levels.

Interesting how the left turns a blind eye when it suits them and are willing to offer “reasonable” doubt for the sake of of their liberal agenda.

Not what you’d expect at all. If you’re just looking to bash the Kennedys or even praise them this movie is not for you. This movie is nothing more than a harrowing account of how badly Teddy Kennedy did not want to be president. Spot on. Great performances. The light tone makes the dark moments really hit IMO.

fVery few movies make you feel as if your there when the act was being done. Stuck to the exact line of events and didnt stray at all. One of the most political bias politicians of out times. To see what he would do and stoop so low just see the conformation hearing for Robert Bork and you will see where the democrats got their "mass hysteria" and false narratives from. He should have gotten a life sentence for the murder he commited.
  • Fine Acting And A Timely, Accurate Recount

This is a political movie by definition and seemingly a lesson never learned. It’s the highly accurate story of a controversial yet effective Senator and Kennedy. My comments will be political but I think in the context of this story are appropriate. If the Kennedys were the first true American Royals, the Clintons I hope are the last. A little Apples and Lemons comparison but lots of similarities. Abuse of power, privilege, dubious loyalty and undying devotion by one political slant to very flawed politicians are how I would describe the similar tales. How we view and accept effective political achievement and personal integrity and morality are a continuing theme in today’s political environment. The movie was well done, the acting was superb and the period was perfectly represented not only by scenery and sets but by accurate personalization of characters and scenes.

We enjoyed the movie very much! It helps support my dislike for the Kennedy families.
