Operation Red Sea

I really enjoyed this flick!! Great plot, photography and action!!

Excellent movie with perfect shot.

I tried to give it a chance but first 15 minutes was all I could stomach. More of an action movie than a military war movie with authenticity. The scene that bugged me is some Chinese freighter is held hostage by pirates. The Chinese navy vessels move in to intervene. The next scene cuts to an entire Chinese assault team ready to breach the main bridge. Just lazy, no scenes on boarding the ship etc which would be difficult if the pirates were prepared to repel boarders. Next scenes show slow motion headshots upon breach. Kinda cool “action” scenes but I don’t think there was any authenticity put to thought here. Just some director and producer dreaming up action scenes

Yeah. I heard peoples say this is Pure China propaganda, ok, sure, like when the US is making similar kind of movie, then it doesn’t count as propaganda? Such hypocrisy is unbearable. Either propaganda or not , it is still a good war action movie to enjoy and it is also good to view thing from different perspectives, it will help fixing certain kind of bigotry.

Operation Red Sea is a great war movie! The production value, cinematography and direction is impressive. It seems like a propaganda film made by the Chinese government to get people to the Chinese military lol! Reminded me a lot of Black Hawk Down. They could have cut out about 10-15 min, seemed a bit long. Very suspenseful and exciting. If you like military movies you’ll like it.

The Chinese know how to make a good action movie, over the top with the best of Hollwood! It reflects China's growing international presence in todays world. Geat entertaiment.
