  • Vegan propaganda. All bias, no science.

If you want to see people attack meat and fat without any science (they say there’s research but never specify or show any) then this vegan infomercial is for you. However if you’re a rational person who understands the basics of nutrition, the nutritional difference between pasture raised animals and factory farmed meat, and the toxins and anti-nutrients that are in legumes, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables don’t waste your time.

These hacks just directly lie all through this show assuming that we have not done the research for ourselves. They ignore and deny scientific studies and bash nutritional eating methods that don’t make the big food companies money! So sad to see professionals sell themselves for profit. Pathetic. Go watch Fat: A Documentary to get some real information.

Yet another vegatarian/vegan film. No one really knows what we should eat or how much. Look at the facts, we have been eating meat since we lived in caves and huts. Nothing is good for us. Fruit is basically candy with fiber and veggies often pass undigested. Meat comes from stressed animals and seafood is tainted with mercury. Just use common sense when eating.

To those who say they down played exercise....I didn’t get that at all. They said exercise isn’t going to save your health when you devour pizza, burgers, chips, soda, sweets. Duh!!!!! Everyone wants the quick fix -pop a diet pill or try the next hot diet. If anything this movie was common sense.

I’ve been following the whole food, plant based lifestyle for a while now and I absolutely love it! This documentary is perfect for anyone who wants to feel better, be healthier and experience life to the fullest, all thanks to the wonderful things that the beautiful veggies, fruits, grains and legumes have to offer. We need more films like this to reach a wider audience.

This is a very opinionated would like to be documentary. The profesionals intervied and giving their opinion are questionable at best, but better not listened to, for their opinions are either general knowledge or not very profound and meaningful. Furthermore, statements are made how bad big food business is - and I agree they are -but very few solutions re given of how to avoid them. I had really high hopes for this movie, but the amature nature of ifs does not go down as a 'watch worthy' documentary in book - just say no and do not watch ist!
  • Helpful insights, but with some flawed arguments

I found a lot of the information and perspectives to be very helpful, and I'm certain it will impact my approach to food. Be aware that a lot of "big food" conspiracy theories are included. While these likely contain some elements of truth, few of the claims are supported at all - or they're supported with flawed logic. I feel like those theories were unnecessary, as they negatively impact the credibility of the entire film. About 30 minutes in, it becomes clear that the film is advocating for a vegan diet, but some of the doctors interview do admit you don't have to be vegan to be healthy.

We weren't expecting the vegan diet propoganda. Any diet that pushes their "our way or the highway mentality" is in my opinion a waste of time and resources for the general population, and just not realistic or sustainable for most people. I knew it was going downhill when they actually inferred that exercising and use of olive oils was part of the problem. This documentary just wants me to be more vocal against vegans and how they try and push it on everyone else. I really believe that everyone should find the diet that works for them and makes them feel great. Funny how they said you can find any number of scientific studies on the internet to prove other diets work so it should be discounted, yet studies have shown the "plant-based diet" (yet another hypocritical red flag never using the word "vegan"). The only thing this "documentary" did was made me anti-vegan and pro-anything else - paleo, exercise, low-sugar, low-fat, keto. If it works for you go for it!
  • Great advice - eat your veggies

Sugar should be highly regulated. Veggies should be worked into the peoples diet in interesting and easy to get ways.
