  • Movie is amazing, subtitles are grey, soundtrack not original mono

Movie looks good though unfortunately this isn’t the original mono soundtrack but the remixed version which is inferior, and it is listed as 4K HDR, but looks like previous 1080 releases. Still love tge film though. My big problem is the subtitles are grey, like they are forced transparent even though I have them set not to be so they are incredibly hard to read. Subtitles are fine on any other movie so it is just this with the issue. And other HDR titles don’t have this issue.
  • Great picture keeping but remixed sound effects.

This is the same transfer that was released by KAM on Blu-Ray(4K transfer version)This has the original soundtrack and score but the sound effects is the remixed one, not the original effects that have gun echos and extra gun handling noise. The picture is clean and the colors pop but not up to typical HDR standards. There is slight film grain and didn’t noticed any strange filters that is common with some of these classic releases. The film is natural looking compared to the IVL DVD that was contrast heavy with inky blacks(which I don’t mind)Overall this is a solid release for a rare film like this. If you already own the Blu-Ray no point in getting this for this price but if you don’t is worth it if you are a fan.

Love this movie, watch over few hundred times, but don’t look like it remastered, same old film,, very disappointed, not worth for $20. Hope they will remastered the film to real 4K.
