Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “It Chapter Two” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.

Horror movie that starts with LGBTQ indoctrination

In the first 5 minutes, I wanted to walk out. What is the purpose of having two men kissing at the onset of the movie? And of course the obligatory bigots who wanted to beat them up because they hate. Hollywood loves to lecture….how about just make an awesome movie that isn’t woke?
Funny how Hollywood puts LGBTQ crap on ancillary characters…and not the main. Will Disney have a story where the two princes are the main characters in a love story? No….would these producers make the IT clown non-binary? No.
They are woke cowards….won’t get my money. 😂

This movie is good. It’s not as good The first one. The only part I did not like is that they put two gay guys near the beginning of this movie, that ruined it for me. But the rest it’s still very creepy as usual.

MUCH BETTER THAN FIRST ONE

It beats it in every single way much better! The CGI was slightly worse at some points, however. Very rarely however!
More horror, less virtue-signaling

While the film had great jumpscares and complimented the first film well (vice-versa), I didn't get the chill down my spine watching this one like I did Chapter One. Horror-wise, the mysteriously chilling aspect could have been amped up way more than it was. The virtue-signaling was just awful as well. This is a horror film, and the perverted love story, especially between Richie and Eddie could have been displayed a whole lot less. "Be proud..." says the voice while grown up Richie engraves R+E into the bench. I dont need Hollywood to express their agenda through a horror film, or any for that matter.
NO!!

-pros: good production value, Richie is awesome in the movie
-cons: the 3hr runtime, awful cgi, bland characters, not scary
Kinda creepy but not really?

I'm torn, I really dont think it lives up to the original in terms of scare factor. Story was a bit better. Personally, Tim Curry's IT was terrifying. His character was truely menacing. Bill Skarsgard's IT was a little too jovial. I mean sure its a clown, but the combination of costume and acting did scare as much. For me at end of the day, scare factor trumps story and it wasnt very scary.
