Description

Led by an all-star cast, THE LAST FULL MEASURE is the true story of William H. Pitsenbarger, a U.S. Air Force medic who personally saved over sixty men before making the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam's bloodiest battle. Three decades later, Pentagon staffer Scott Huffman investigates a Congressional Medal of Honor request made by Pitsenbarger's mission partner and parents. Huffman interviews Army vets to learn more about Pitsenbarger's courageous acts — and uncovers a high-level conspiracy behind the medal's denial.

I'm not much for reviews but had to say my piece. This isn't meant to be a thrill ride. I sat riveted to this movie till the end of the credits. What a moving true story. So many lessons, so much feeling expressed, so many lives touched. I wept. Highly recommended to the serious viewer.

This is a story of a fallen hero and the correction of history - upgrading his Silver Star to the Medal of Valor, 32 years later than it should have been. It portrays the side of veterans that many do not see - PTSD. Sensitively written and worth the time to learn of this story.
  • Awesome and Inspiring

As the son of a Vietnam Vet, this movie tells the story of the Vietnam Vet's experience from multiple perspectives that make sense to those who know these Vets. There is no glorification of war. Just how it is for these Vets who did what their country asked them to do and for some the regrets that go along with the sacrifices. Acting is okay. I did expect a bit better given the casting.

I watched thee entire thing. Waiting patiently for it to become captivating, or entertaining at all... The story is as good as the production value - About as good as steping in a fresh pile of warm Dog Poop and then having to scrape it off your shoe with a stick. This production was cheap from the get go. Disservice to the men and women that fought in Vietnam, disservice to the people that fought for their recognition, and a disservice to the actors who COULD'VE done a much better job given the opportunity. This whole thing is crap. Waste of time. Huge disappointment.
