The story of Marc Megna is nothing short of inspiring! Marc’s passion for everything he does is something we all should aspire to be like. This documentary perfectly encapsulates the man I look up to and I would 100% recommend watching this (again and again and again).

I have been training with Marc since several years.He leads by example and pushes me far beyond my limits in a very responsible way. He leads by example, best trainer I ever had worldwide and hardest and most dedicated person I have ever met. A true inspiration !

So motivating. I’ve been a follower of Marc for years and have learned a lot from his workouts and fitness. I had no idea about his life though. Must watch. Soooo well done.

I walked into 2020 completely shattered, nearly hopeless, heartbroken, apathetic, lonely, and, alone. For the life of me, I could not remember the happy, go-lucky, hopeful and giving person I lost: Life had crushed me, and this time, it seemed like this time, there was absolutely no coming back from it. I am a man with a deep Christian faith, yet, months into 2020, and, I could not seem to snap out of the profound sadness and hopelessness that held me prisoner on death row. Things were not getting any better, and, I knew . . . knew I had to do something. This is when I know my God sent me the encouragement I would need, to start pulling me out of this quicksand of heartbreak, ready to finally suffocate me under the weight of it’s gray, slimy mud: God sent me Marc Megna’s book, “Dream Big Never Quit: The Marc Megna Story.” Before I’d even finished the first few chapters, I had to put down the book, as tears streamed down my face — It felt like I had a friend right next to me, telling me he understood how I felt, because he’d gone through the same feelings of self-doubt and failure. Within the first hour of reading Marc’s book, I put it down once again, because God had already started to use Marc’s story so powerfully to start pulling me up and out, I felt God move in my heart stop and buy Randy West’s documentary of Marc, “Just A Kid From Fall River: The Life And Story Of Marc Megna.” I’m so glad I listened. Within literally eight hours, at 6:30 in the morning, I had hungrily consumed every single word in Marc’s book. And, then, I knew why God had sent me Marc’s story to read, and, his movie to watch: So, that Marc’s relatable superhero inspiring story, could start to dissipate my crippling discouragement (which bore the weight of a million loaded semi-trucks), and, start to finally replace the sadness, emptiness, and, hopelessness, once again, with HOPE. Because, if we lose hope, we lose everything that keeps us pushing. Marc’s movie reminds us all, that no matter who you are or where you come from, God gives each and everyone of us the power to be a superhero and to fly higher than we ever dared to dream: Our one and only constraint is believing that we do not. So, when the weight of the world has crushed you, here’s a story that will help make you stronger. A story about Marc’s unrelenting discipline, heart, hopefulness, determination and diligence created success. A story that will inspire all of us to know, that with the same kind of “never say quit” blood running through our veins, will enable us the opportunity to reach the same heights. God used Marc Megna’s book, and, now his movie to find the strength to be stronger than ever. I encourage you to invest in both . . . I know with all my heart God will use Marc’s story in your life to reignite a burning flame inside you, as He did with me, that will quickly turn into an un Unstoppable Phoenix. Come, let’s rise from these ashes together. God. You. Me. And, Marc.

Awesome movie about hard work an dedication to achieving ones goal.

An extraordinary movie about an extraordinary person! Just A Kid From Fall River will provide inspiration that anything is possible with hard work and perseverance. Marc had all the odds stacked against him, but he overcame those hurdles with passion and consistency rarely seen in any individual. As you view the movie you learn how special Marc is as a son, brother, friend, husband, NFL player and business man. Marc maintains his passion and commitment to everything he does! It is such a great message for viewers of all ages. Young people can see how hard work and passion can keep you out of trouble and achieve amazing things. More mature viewers can learn that no matter you age, you can be the person you want to be with hard work and commitment. Randy West does a beautiful job of sketching out Marc’s life. You really feel the intensity of Marc as he pursues his dreams.

This is a must see for anyone that needs to hear how dedication and hard work can change your life. Where you are from and what you do to get where you want to be is such an amazing journey. Marc had many obstacles, he lived his dream with not only the football career but with what he does on a daily basis to inspire and help everyone around him. Watch this documentary, you won’t regret it. Fall River really is a special place.

Marc has been apart of my life for the better part of my adult years. There were so many things in this film that tugged on different emotions. From his own struggles to triumphs it was a fresh take on his life through the lenses of randy west. We laughed, we teared up and we shared in his triumphs on screen. Incredible job to the team to who put this together.

This Documentary should be played in every middle and high school across the country. Kids need to be inspired, and whom better than Marc. Thank you.
