Junior executive Alan (John Lloyd Cruz) is assured of promotion because his girlfriend Daphne (Maricar Reyes) is the company chairman’s daughter. Taking the Pasig river ferry, Alan meets Mia (Bea Alonzo) who writes her feelings on stones. Mistaking that the woman is so depressed to jump overboard, Alan stops her to his embarrassment. Consequently, Alan and Mia become sweethearts. By coincidence, Alan and Mia meet her estranged grandfather Ulysses who predicted that they are meant for each other, but it will not be easy, and that Alan must never give up till that certain time when Mia will be his. Allan breaks up with Daphne, but fails to meet Mia before she leaves for work in Malaysia. With his new job, Allan is sent to Malaysia where he finds Mia already engaged to the Malaysian Mir (Hans Isaac). Yet Alan keeps finding Mia’s stone that says he is still the one. Feeling dejected, Alan goes home and waits for Mia on that particular time and date. Will Mia ever come back to him?
