On the Count of Three

I liked and did not like this movie. Plot was interesting and I really liked the character focused story about male friendships and how men deal with trauma and pain. The story is very dark and takes an even darker revenge fantasy turn towards the end that was sort of jarring. I laughed a few times at some of the deadpan humor and blatant insanity of it but this really was very comedic. I found it to just be dark and kind of intense. I wasn’t mad that I paid to rent it but this movie isn’t for everyone.

Hilarious when it needed to be. Dramatic and serious when it needed to be. Those giving it low reviews are need to lighten up. It’s a movie about people who want to kill themselves. What did you expect? Very dark concept, but brilliantly done by Jerrod.

How in the world did anyone find this funny?

Well acted, well shot but it’s not a dark comedy. I’d put this in the drama category.

Sorry but trying to make this funny is just so uncomfortable $!

Two people who do not want to live doing a good job living??? Worst movie I have seen in a long time.

What else do you need to know? The man is a comical genius and all of the other varieties of genius.

On The Count of Three is a deeply empathetic and unflinching depiction of male mental health. Jerrod Carmichael and Christopher Abbott’s chemistry is equally hilarious and shattering. A parable about those who are left to die by their own devices in America.

Wow!!!! A Very Impressive Story, Impressive Acting, and Impressive Directing. The music, the scenery and camera work was so good.
