Stop putting sexual stuff in kids movies! There is no need for it. Let kids be kids and enjoy their lives.

If you must know Velma was always a lesbian from her one true friend of hot dog water in the mystery incorporated show to the comment Velma made in frankencreepy Wow I look hot Hopefully Velma stays loud and proud though with the upcoming HBO adult Scooby-Doo show they could do so much more with Velma and coco Now about the movie story line it starts really strong with great call backs to the original series but then stalls until the mystery machine is attacked then it picks back up and is very entertaining to watch and see where they go from here If you are someone who has complained about Velma watch frankencreepy Velma is in a non Velma outfit and loves how hot she looks Actually she said Wow I look hot Then there was the 2 seasons of mystery incorporated where Velma was close to a character who was called hot dog water those were only two strong hints of the real Velma but now she’s officially in a relationship that hopefully will continue in other movies and series

Kids shows shouldn’t be praised with SJW nonsense, worst of all the animated Scooby-Doo movies.

Watched it with the family, typical innocent Scooby Doo story. It’s funny how worked up people get about a fictional character. Honestly Velma’s crush on that woman wasn’t even a big part of the movie.

  • An Insult to a Classic Series and it’s Fans

As a old school Scooby Doo fan, it hurts to see one of my favorite franchises (Like Many) get turned into an advocate for an unnatural, immoral lifestyle. Velma a cute, smart and modest girl has been turned into a Lesbian after YEARS of debate and rumor. What happened to her normalcy or better yet what is going on with the world today? At the end of the day, this is a face slap to old school fans like myself, a face slap to the shows original creators and their work. (I guarantee you when they designed Velma, they did not have in mind that she was a lesbian or that she would ever be. Their are cute girls that look like Velma that are NOT Lesbians!) Thankfully there are lot of Scooby Fans here who feel the same way I do, cool story we love you guys, continue to keep the original series alive and well. This matter of sexual orientation is BIG Issue and it should NEVER be forced on us or our favorite franchises and characters.
  • Completely Inappropriate!

There is ZERO reason to “out” Velma in a kids movie. It’s unnecessary and inappropriate. People need to stop shoving this down their throats. I don’t even know if it was a good storyline because I was so disgusted by the need to make it such a bit part of the movie. Kids aren’t safe anywhere anymore.
  • Love The Inclusion, Hate The Storyline

    * I revised my star rating to five stars due to all the trump supporters leaving hateful non-constructive reviews. I miss the days of Alien Invaders, Witches Ghost, and Zombie Island. It was an era of peak creativity, making me fall in love with the franchise as a child. I’m assuming they had way better funding back then because this movie simply wasn’t it. The animation style, storyline, and drastic character changes literally made me hate this movie. None of the characters sound remotely the same as when I was little. The animation style seemed purposely dated, which took away from the overall experience. The one thing I did like about this movie was its inclusion of Velma’s truth. We all knew she was a lesbian, even as kids, and I’m happy they confirmed it. That part of the story is the ONLY reason why this review isn’t a single star. Inclusivity is everything, especially in todays society. I hope moving forward this franchise really takes their late millennial/early gen z audience into consideration. We have kids now, and we’re watching these movies again with them, and we hate what you’re doing to our franchise.
