The production was so cheap and just awful. It glossed over the relationship with Robyn and felt like it tried rewrite who she was. The documentaries tell a better story. It had the feel of an after school special from 40 years ago. It was disappointing for a big budget movie.

I wasn't even a Whitney Houston fan, but was blown away by this movie and it has turned me into a huge fan. The acting is amazing. This might be one of the best movies I've ever seen. To all the people complaigning about "woke" something, get a life. You people basically say everything is woke and are easliy offended by anything. This is the story of someone's life !

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. A great reminder of how amazingly talented Whitney was. Seemed to be a balanced account of her success and her struggles, a story well told. They don’t seem to make voices or music likes hers anymore, bring back the power ballads !!!!

The movie was okay wasn’t as good as the Elvis and Freddie mercury one but still worth a watch just probably as a rent or when it’s on sale but it gets boring in the beginning till mid and end of the movie but just wish it could have been more in depth but the music was phenomenal and the actor did really good portraying Whitney but yeah not a bad movie but worth a rent or on sale

Everyone that thinks this was another woke movie is absolutely wrong. There is nothing woke about this movie. Just a great movie about Whitney Houston’s life. Makes you realize and remember how amazing she was.
  • Not even interesting

This movie was pitiful. Not in the least bit interesting. It felt like a Lifetime tv movie. It showed the facts but without real human emotion behind it. They laughed when it was time to laugh, smile when it was time to smile, cried when it was time to cry…but you didn’t FEEL those emotions. It is empty calories. It never really went deeper than the facts. Considering the talent she had, she deserves more than what this lack luster movie provided. It’s feels buying QVC Dominique fake diamonds but knowing you should have a Tiffany diamond. She deserves better.

Wokeness fails again. Hollywood can’t make a movie without beating people over the head with illogical woke politics.

Switched off after 10 minutes as the opening theme is all about LGBT promoting the spirit of the age. It takes away so much of the exceptional musical gift and message that Whitney was, which should have set the tone for the story.
