Description

In the 1970s, young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie), a charismatic hippie-street-preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer), they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to a Jesus Revolution that changed the world.

What a fantastic movie with an inspirational message. Just because people are turning away from God doesn’t mean we stop trying to reach them. More humility, less sanctimony is a great message.

Very inspiring! A little cringey here and there, but not too much. Worth a watch. As with the hippies, I'd love to see a new generation of seekers coming face to face with the way, the truth, and the life (Jesus, btw).
