This movie was great at first watch, meh at second. Very thought provoking, mostly by having many ideas, conflicting ideas and contrary examples. Cartoonizes both extremes of feminism and manosphere and not really finding a good center. Many quick yet deep ideas thrown into the story with little time to process yet also pivotal to story. What really shines is Art style, Ken's actings/portrayal, Barbie's empathy, and Pro Motherhood arc by the final scene. If you don't take it too seriously you can be laughing whole way through for a watch, then get critical on second for your dislikes and overhype.

I loved this movie. It’s playful, delivering the nostalgia and brought me back to my childhood. Then made me weep with its sweet message about mother’s. I don’t understand the hate it’s getting from conservatives. Moms should be lining up to watch this with their daughters. I don’t believe people leaving bad reviews even watched it. It’s such a strange target for political vitriol. I guess we can’t have movies aimed at female audiences? Transformers, GI Joe’s and boy toys only? It’s too progressive? So weird.

Gave $5 to a homeless person, wish I had the $5.99 I spent on this trash to give the homeless lady. Less than a 1 star. Please donate the $5.99 to homeless charity.

This movie whole being a very typical girly Barbie movie actually touches on real life issues very well. Not just women’s issues but men’s issues, too. It shows how men’s issues are created by men but also misunderstood by women. At the very end of the movie Margot Robbie’s Barbie apologizes to Ryan Gosling’s Ken because she realizes she took his love for granted. There is nothing “woke” about this movie and anyone who thinks so is just like I said. Weak willed and emotionally immature boys. One of the best scenes of this movie is America Ferrera’s monologue about women’s issues that have always been there. The movie is mostly silly like the Barbie movie it is but is also very heartfelt. When I finished this movie it caused me to feel a lot of things that I’m not used to feeling as a man. The truth is that is completely okay. 99% of the “reviews” of this movie are from people who misunderstood what this movie was trying to say. So, don’t listen to those people. Make your own choice! Watch it, or don’t watch it.
