When a clown calls it woke and cry’s about its 😂 agenda it’s usually a good sign that the movie is good.

Great movie, however I have one thing to say to the “Go Woke Go Broke” troopers. DO US ALL A FAVOR AND SHUT YOUR STUPID, RACIST SELVES UP!

This is nothing close to the 90s Turtles. There is way too much pandering and wokeness.
  • Phenomenal movie!!

I would 100% recommend watching this, by yourself, with friends, or family! People in the reviews don’t understand that as time goes on, we aren’t going to get the same kinds of movies and the same art styles, because it gets boring and repetitive. It’s a new era for animation and the TMNT are included! I don’t understand why people are so mad about April being black, we have never had a TMNT iteration where April was the same. Honestly at this point people are just being racist and fat-phobic about her, she’s a great character so far and cool. Many complain about the turtle designs being to “childish” but they’re designs are nice. They got the general aspect of the turtles and didn’t overdue anything, they’re just teenage boys who have silly interests and personalities. Even despite their looks, you can see after watching this movie they are strong and can fight. Splinter was actually a great father and sensei here, and it’s very obvious. The voice acting cast is great and overall the movies hilarious, there really aren’t many reasons to hate it. People who say “it’s nothing like the past tmnt” are just those who are afraid of change, as if people are going to want to see the same old tmnt again and again.

Great casting, horrible story. Man I wish they would do a proper Eastman story. There are so many great comics they could choose from.

I’m a 90’s kid so I’m pretty tough on TMNT movies. The 2014 movie was just awful imo. I believe this movie rivals the 90’s movies. That’s the best compliment I could possibly give. I’ve read the one star reviews of everyone complaining that the movie is “woke” but I think that’s a stretch. I did notice how they made April a minority and heavy set but really…who cares? Every TMNT movie doesn’t have to be exactly the same. Nothing else stood out to me at all. It was an excellent movie, an instant classic. My almost four year old watched it with me. He is probably too young to watch it but he was busy trying to replicate the martial arts fight scenes on me. Highly recommend watching it.

it's a new style for a new generation, it has a morale message (being different/ hatred is wrong) and the possibility for a sequel (shredder). some characters are bound to change (ethnicities/ gender,...) -nick furry (marvel)-little mermaid (disney) -velma (scooby doo) -aquaman (dc) -... keep an open mind❤️
