The grand finale of Gregg Araki's Teen Apocalypse Trilogy, NOWHERE charts a day in the hilarious and tragic life of Dark Smith (James Duval), a pansexual 18-year-old obsessed with the End of the World and finding his one true love in a surreal, psychedelic Los Angeles. The object of his affection, Mel (Rachel True), feels for him deeply but can't commit herself to any one person or gender, splitting her time between Dark and her curvaceous, acid-tongued girlfriend, Lucifer (Kathleen Robertson). Dark, meanwhile, becomes enthralled by the beauteous Montgomery (Nathan Bexton), literally a vision to behold beneath the golden California sun. The film's hyper-stylized, weblike narrative features an all-star ensemble cast that includes Christina Applegate, Guillermo Diaz, Scott Caan, Heather Graham, Ryan Phillippe, Mena Suvari, Jeremy Jordan, John Ritter, Chiara Mastroianni, Debi Mazar, Traci Lords, Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan and Jaason Simmons to name a few. PAPER Magazine calls it "Sexy, psychedelic, dementedly funny... It's like "Clueless" with nipple rings".
