This movie takes everything you love about the original movie and adds the incredibly well sung, well choreographed musical numbers that push the story forward. MeanGirls (2024)is perfectly cast, everyone played they’re version of these iconic characters to perfection wha’ll adding their own flair. There are little changes and things they added that happened to really work for me and they kept just enough the same that it felt familiar. i enjoyed the movie so much that I’ve seen it 3 times in theaters and may see it again before it leaves. The songs are very catchy and get better every time I listen to them. Did I mention that I jam to the soundtrack on my way to work?… so in short after you watch the movie there’s a good chance that when you think MeanGirls both movies will come to mind in the best possible way. I grew up with the first movie. And now I can love this version too. This is definitely adds validity to the argument for remakes. It’s the one I didn’t know I wanted. 😋 I actually kinda want to see the musical on broadway now. 😉

I don’t get why they make these movies over and over again, always trying to create original movies. The original Mean Girls is the best. This new one, such bad acting. They should have made a new story and not try to do who knows what. The new Gretchen, Karen, Damien, Janet? Sorry, but you can’t beat the original actors. This new version is just bad. I couldn’t finish the movie. What’s up with all the singing that doesn’t even rhyme? Why not just talk what you want to say, instead of making up weird melodies. Can’t recommend it! No no no

This is a huge mess, you should’ve created a new plot. not recreate the orginal? omg what are you guys are thinking?

This movie was SO much fun! Great cast and great music, a time capsule of high school in 2024 as the first film was for 2004. Congratulations to everyone involved because you SERVED!! 10/10!
