An intricate feel-bad comedy about a 39-year-old man who after several humiliating personal setbacks must accept that he is a failure and that he’s let down his immigrant parents. He seeks advice from an almost famous guru, an arts administrator, and two fellow software engineers, who turn out also to be struggling. But does it even matter, since they might all be in a massive simulation anyway?
