Filmed in London and in multiple locations across the United States, this big-hearted, cross country romp from New York City to Hollywood, via Washington D.C., the Deep South, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Palm Springs, to the Santa Fe desert, leads Oscar to the joy, love and liberation that eluded the playwright a century and a half ago. “Oscar Wilde About America” is directed by James Andrew Walsh and is executive produced by Kimberly Chesser. It stars London West End's Oscar Conlon-Morrey and co-stars Academy Award, Emmy, Golden Globe, Tony, Olivier, and BAFTA nominees and winners Rosemary Harris, Kate Burton, and Harriet Thorpe. The film features the original song “Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Taken”, music and lyrics by Eamonn O’Dwyer, courtesy of Eamonn O’Dwyer and Rhode Trip Pictures, based on one of Wilde's most popular quotes.
